602 S. Chapel Gate Lane
Baltimore, MD 21229
Brief Description of Event:
What can one person do to contribute to the fight against human trafficking? The Samaritan Women is a long term residential home in Baltimore City with therapeutic and life skills programs for women who have survived domestic sex trafficking. We are located on a 23-acre Maryland Historic Trust property with a three-acre farm, which volunteers have maintained since the founding of our organization in 2007. Our program and beautiful location is a testament to the power of community impact, and the work volunteers do on our farm and grounds make our property a beautiful place for our residents' recovery. Volunteering at The Samaritan Women is a great opportunity for volunteers to get outside and complete projects on the largest farm in Baltimore City, learn more about human trafficking and what one individual has the power to do about it, and support a local residential program for survivors.
