The Staff Appreciation Committee will have the unique challenge of celebrating the teachers and staff under probable quarantine. We are considering options such as replacing home-made food contributions from parents to pre-packaged chips or pretzels which can be dropped off and left untouched for a couple of days before opening (to assuage teachers' fear of contagion). Since many teachers' conferences are held virtually this year, they have become more affordable, so we are thinking of offering to pay for registration for some teachers' conference attendance. We are also thinking of creating an online "apple for the teacher" web page here students can send a "thank you postcard" to the teachers and staff they really appreciate.I just joined, so we are still discussing possibilities.
