Brief Description of Event: 
All assistance removing phragmites and other invasive species from the lower pond at DNR Tawes Garden greatly appreciated. All levels of experience welcomed. This is the first phase of a replanting project -- invasive species will be replaced with blue flag irises, swamp milkweed, and other native plants, at future time, through Unity Garden Grant. If you own waders and wish to wear them, please bring along...! Work in pond followed by free concert at garden patio - G's Project, Jazz music from noon - 1pm. Thank you!
