Brief Description of Event: 
Join Anacostia Riverkeeper and Potomac Conservancy on the water and in the park for a National Public Lands Day Clean Waterways Cleanup at Anacostia Park this Sunday, Sept 23rd, 10am-2pm honoring not only Public Lands Day but also the 50th Anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and serving as a belated wrap-up to the International Coastal Cleanup. More details and RSVP here: We will meet at 10am at 1500 Anacostia Drive between the boat ramp and the skating pavilion. Kayaks will be on a first come-first serve basis. All equipment provided, just wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Special surprise unveiling of our #LitterLetters project at the end of the day when we fill them up with what we've collected!
