Aiding the men, women and children in need served by St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore: We welcome the donation of new socks, gloves and hats and new sealed, unopened travel size hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Monetary donations (checks made checks payable to St. Vincent de Paul Baltimore) will also be appreciated. St. Vincent de Paul has been aiding and serving those in need since 1865. Our efforts to help the less fortunate will benefit these programs: • Beans & Bread in Baltimore City, a homeless day resource program that serves 300 people daily with meals, healthcare, showers, laundry, employment services, case management, housing referrals and placements, mail receipt, and telephone access; • Sarah’s Hope Mount Street, a comprehensive 130 bed shelter serving homeless families in Baltimore City and Sarah’s Hope Hannah More, a comprehensive 85 bed shelter in Baltimore County. Sarah’s Hope programs provide meals, youth activities and tutoring, adult education classes, case management, housing placement and referrals.
