Brief Description of Event:
Volunteers can sign up for a shift of 2-4 hours Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 9am-5pm to help CASA prepare for our annual community event which benefits youth in foster care due to abuse or neglect. The World of Wheels for CASA is a touch-a-truck event that allows children and families to explore the vehicles that keep our communities moving while enjoying carnival attractions such as games, face painting and moon bounces. Leading up to the event, volunteers will help in the office to prepare flyers, make signs and other tasks to ensure the event can run smoothly. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to establish a day and time to volunteer. Funds raised provide more youth with a CASA volunteer who will advocate in their best interest and, for older foster youth, help them establish a path to a sustainable future including employment and stable housing.
